Before you make that call, gather as much information about the application as you can. If possible:
Have an idea of the type of device you are going to use.
Consider the following factors regarding the characteristics you will need in the device: Size limitations,
electrical load, contact resistance, differential angle, over-travel, life expectancy, operating and storage environments, lead wires, contact terminations, mounting, vibration and UL and CSA approval.
Give us an idea of your budgetary price and the expected quantites.
