Based
in Clifton, NJ USA, The Comus Group is a world leader in the design,
development and manufacture of switches and sensors. Founded in June
1978 by Robert P. Romano, the President, Comus International was
primarily a manufacturer of glass mercury tilt switches. Continued
success for Comus International led to the development of metal mercury
switches and also the patented non-mercury switch.

In
time, Comus International began acquiring companies with sensor
related products forming The Comus Group of Companies. The expanded
product line consists of tilt and tip-over switches, motion sensors,
vibration sensors, float switches, reed switches and reed relays, as
well as the ability to create and design custom products and
assemblies for specific applications. These applications are found
in such diverse areas as medical equipment, automobiles, meters,
washing machines, steam irons, alarm systems and even the Arch of
St. Louis. The Comus Group includes Assemtech Europe Ltd. and
Active Switch and Sensor in England, Comus France and Comus
Belgium. All products manufactured and distributed by these
locations are also available through our Sales Agents and
Distributors.
We
are pleased to announce the newest addition to our Sales group –
Comus India. Comus India now has a dedicated sales staff, including
Mr. C. Venkataraman, Mr. S. Natarajan, Ms. A. Chitra, Mr. N.Gilbert
and Mr. D.Decker, offering all products of the Comus Group. With a
